2008: Saw action in 12 games as a member of special teams. Appeared in all but the Western Michigan game. Made one tackle against Indiana State (9-20). 2007: Redshirted after walking on to the team in 2007. High School: Team MVP earned Peoria Journal-Star All-Area honors as a senior. Helped the Bombers to an 8-0 record and Olympic Conference title as a running back and outside linebacker. Team advanced to the second round of the IHSA 4A playoffs. Gained 1,031 yards with 19 touchdowns in his final prep season. Earned all-conference notice as a junior after rushing for 983 yards and scoring 21 touchdowns. Football team totaled a 25-3 record in his four years. Received four letters as a member of the Bomber wrestling team. On the mat, garnered all-conference honors three times and all-state accolades as a sophomore. Named his team's most valuable wrestler as a junior and a senior.
