NIU arrives in Miami

The Huskies arrive in Miami

High School: Earned second team all-conference honors following his senior season at Xavier High School, while playing tight end, linebacker and long snapper. Caught four passes for 49 yards and one touchdown as a senior. Forced five fumbles, recovered three fumbles, broke up four passes and grabbed two interceptions in 2011 for the Hawks. Helped XHS to an Eastern Valley Conference title each of his three seasons on the varsity squad. Voted by his teammates as the athlete with the hardest work ethic as a senior. Ranked as one of the nation's best long snappers by the Kohl's Long-Snapping Camp.

Personal: Born August 31, 1993, in Appleton, Wisconsin. Son of Phil and Victoria Ramlet. Intends on majoring in communications. Grandfather played at South Dakota State and brother plays at Minnesota.
