2012: Saw action in all 14 games on special teams and as a reserve linebacker. Recorded 12 tackles. Posted a season-high three tackles against Buffalo (10-13). Recovered a fumble at Akron (10-20) on a kickoff to set up NIU's first touchdown of the game. Registered two tackles each against Iowa (9-1) and UMass (11-3). Made at least one stop in eight games.

2011: Redshirted as a true freshman. Earned Offensive Work Team Player of the Week honors against Buffalo (10-22).

High School: Named second team All-West Suburban Conference second team as a senior. Part of the Proviso West teams that advanced to the playoffs for the first time in school history in 2009. The Panthers made a return trip to the playoffs his senior season. A three-sport athlete. Also qualified for state in the 100 meters for the track & field team in 2009. Placed fifth at the IHSA Class 3A Wrestling Tournament at 189 pounds as a junior and was Proviso West's top wrestler on the year. Compiled a 38-6 record on the mat as a junior.
