The final chapter of the 2014 Huskies by Position previews on the NIU Quarterback position. Sophomores Drew Hare (O'Fallon, Mo./Fort Zumwalt West) and Anthony Maddie (Plainfield, Ill./Aurora Christian) and junior Matt McIntosh (Evansville, Ind./Reitz) are in the race for the starting position.

2015 • Appeared in 10 games with four starts. • Finished with 691 passing yards. • Completed 53.9 percent of his passes. • Tossed six TDs and just three INTs. • Took over as starting QB after starter Drew Hare was injured at Toledo (11-3). • Led a crucial second-half comeback against the No. 20 Rockets, completing 9-of-12 pass attempts for 132 yards and his first career touchdown pass - all in the second half. • Also started and finished wins over Buffalo (11-11) and Western Michigan (11-18) to help the Huskies win the MAC West again. • Threw for a career-high 190 yards and two TDs against the Bulls. • Named MAC Scholar Athlete of the Week for his effort at Buffalo, which included a career-high 78 yards rushing on 18 attempts. • Tossed for two touchdowns again versus Western Michigan. • Threw for 158 yards and rushed for 39 more in the win over WMU. • Was injured in the Ohio (11-24) defeat and missed the MAC Championship Game against Bowling Green (12-4) the next week. • Returned to start the Poinsettia Bowl versus Boise State (12-23). • Honored as an Academic All-MAC student-athlete for the first time.
2014 • Redshirted. • Named NIU Offensive Scout Team Player of the Week for his good work helping the Huskies prepare for Northwestern (9-6).
High School • Completed 151-of-298 passes for 2,007 yards and 24 touchdowns in two seasons as the starting quarterback. • Ran for 1,096 yards and 11 touchdowns on 247 carries in two years. • Named team MVP and second team all-conference as a senior. • Threw for 1,079 yards on 70-of-146 passing in 2013 and tossed 13 touchdown passes. • Gained 576 yards on the ground as a senior, scoring twice. • Selected as a team captain prior to his senior year. • Tallied 928 yards and 11 touchdowns on 81-of-152 passing as a junior. • Scored nine rushing touchdowns in 2012 while gaining 520 yards on 118 carries. Personal • Born Jan. 9, 1996, in Geneva, Ill. • Son of Dan and Robin Graham • Business administration major. • Father was a former NIU (1983-87) and Tampa Bay Buccaneers lineman. • Uncle, Russ, played linebacker and safety at NIU (1979-82). • Uncle, Kent, played 10 seasons in the National Football League with the New York Giants, Arizona Cardinals, Pittsburgh Steelers and Washington Redskins.
