Also earned first team all-conference and all-area honors in 2005. Picked up second team all-conference recognition his senior season. Named Upstate Eight Conference Offensive MVP in 2005. Member of the Sun-Times' Area Top 100 list. Gained 1,402 rushing yards with 19 touchdowns in 11 games as a junior. Averaged over seven yards per carry. Ranks second on the Neuqua Valley all-time rushing list with 2,007 career yards. Team won three straight league titles during his tenure. Brother Alvin Jr. played football and captained the track and field team at Olivet Nazarene. Father Alvin Sr. ran track and football at North Central and his mother graduated from NIU.
