Took Defensive Work Team Player of the Week honors against Buffalo (10-22) and Bowling Green (11-8). 2010: Redshirted his first season at NIU. High School: Won three varsity letters as a running back at Ross High School in Fremont, Ohio. Earned third-team All-Ohio honors as a senior when he was also an all-region choice. Gained 930 yards in seven games as a senior, when he also served as team captain. Two-time all-conference honoree following his junior and senior seasons and was named team MVP as a junior after rushing for 1,330 yards and scoring 17 touchdowns in nine games.
