Trevor Cipriano, assistant director of football operations and recruiting, enters his second season with Northern Illinois University in 2014.
Cipriano joined NIU after serving as the head football recruiting coach at the National Collegiate Scouting Association (NCSA). While there he was responsible for evaluating and managing recruitment for over 2,500 student athletes. He also spent much of his time matching players with colleges across the nation based on their athletic and academic ability. In addition to helping and managing student athletes, Cirpriano was also able to network and assist colleges across NCAA (FBS-DIII), as well as Junior Colleges in their recruiting.
In the 2011 season, he served as the offensive assistant coach with Chicago Rush. While there he spent his time assisting the offensive coordinator at practices, breaking down film and game planning, evaluating offensive personnel, and scouting the offensive and defensive fronts of the teams opponents. During that time, Cipriano also interned at NIU, assisting the compliance office with eligibility requirements and upholding NCAA rules and regulations.
A double major at Cornell College, Cipriano graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Special Studies in political science and sports management. In 2011, Cipriano earned his Master of Science in sports management at NIU.
