Former players and coaches met at FontaineBleau as well. 2012: Started all nine games he played at middle linebacker. Posted a career-best 47 tackles, 18 solo, with 2.5 tackles for loss and a half sack. Credited with at least three tackles in every game he played, including versus Florida State in his hometown in the Orange Bowl. Set a career-high with nine tackles and added a half sack against Iowa (9-1). Recorded seven tackles at Ball State (10-6).Contributed four tackles, including 1.5 tackles for loss and a pass break up, in the MAC Championship game against Kent State (11-30). Registered six tackles, three solo, versus Toledo (11-14). Notched six stops at Western Michigan (10-27). Made four tackles against Buffalo (10-13) and had four stops, all solo, at Akron (10-20). Tallied four tackles, including 1.5 tackles for loss at Eastern Michigan (11-23). Missed five games beginning Sept. 8 (UT Martin) through Sept. 29 (CMU) due to injury. 2011: Recorded 20 tackles in 14 games as the second team middle linebacker and on special teams. Registered six multi-tackle games during the year. Posted a career-high four tackles versus Eastern Michigan (11-25). Made 15 of his 20 tackles on the year in conference play. Posted three stops against Kent State (10-8) and at Bowling Green (11-8). Had two tackles against Western Michigan (10-15), Toledo (11-1) and Arkansas State (1-8). 2010: Did not see any game action in 2010. 2009: Saw action in 10 games at linebacker and on special teams. Totaled five tackles on the season, including two solo stops. Had a career-high two tackles against Idaho (9-26). Made one tackle each in games against Western Michigan (10-3), Miami (10-24), and Eastern Michigan (11-5). Also saw time against Wisconsin (9-5), Western Illinois (9-12), Toledo (10-17), Akron (10-31), Ohio (11-21) and Central Michigan (11-27). 2008: Redshirted as a fullback. Moved to linebacker in the spring. High School: Named third team All-Dade County as a senior. Caught 20 passes for 201 yards and three touchdowns to go with four rushes for 32 yards in his final high school season. Named team captain and MVP as a senior. During his junior year, ran the ball 25 times for 140 yards and made 11 catches for 88 yards. Scored nine career touchdowns, five receiving and four rushing. Helped the Explorers to a 12-1 record and a district championship as a senior. Team went 10-1 and won the district title during his sophomore season. Also lettered in basketball and track and field.
