2013: Former QB turned WR appeared in 10 games...Hauled in six receptions for 109 yards and a touchdown on the season...Second on the team in yards per catch with 18.2...Returned five punts for 42 yards (8.4 avg.) on the year...Made two grabs for 23 yards in the MAC Championship game (12-6)...Caught a 25 yard pass from Jordan Lynch to move the chains on a key third down against Ball State (11-13)...Set career highs in receptions (2) and receiving yards (47) against Eastern Michigan (10-26)...Also caught his first career touchdown against Eastern Michigan (10-26)...Made his first career reception against Akron (10-12).

2012: Redshirted as a true freshman.

High School: Earned Illinois High School Football Coaches Association Class 7A All-State and Daily Herald Tri-Cities All-Area honors in 2011. Also a two-time Upstate Eight all-conference selection. Threw for 1,451 yards and nine touchdowns on 87-of-152 passing as a senior. Rushed for 426 yards and nine touchdowns on 78 carries in 2011. Accounted for 45 percent of the Vikings' touchdowns in 2011. Recorded 1,725 yards and 18 touchdowns passing as a junior, while also rushing 71 times for 349 yards and eight touchdowns en route to Daily Herald Tri-Cities All-Area team honors. Helped the Vikings win conference championships as a sophomore and junior. Attended the same high school as current Huskie Michael Santacaterina and former NIU standout Pat Schiller. An all-conference pitcher and outfielder for the Geneva baseball team.
