***Northern Illinois extended its Huskie Stadium winning streak to 22 games with the win. The streak ties the longest in Mid-American Conference history (Marshall, 22 consecutive home games as a MAC team).

***Jordan Lynch surpassed the 100-yard mark in rushing for the 16th time in his career and the second time in three games this season. Lynch finished the game with 189 yards rushing, his season-high and the second-highest total of his career, on 23 carries. He averaged 8.2 yards per carry. Lynch accounted 424 yards of total offense to record his fourth career 400-yard game. He recorded his sixth game with 150 yards passing and 150 yards rushing. Lynch has thrown a touchdown pass in 16 straight games dating back to the 2012 season opener vs. Iowa.

***NIU's offense compiled 31 first downs against Eastern Illinois. The last time the Huskies had 30-plus first downs was versus Central Michigan last season, September 29 when NIU converted 32.

***Northern Illinois has scored in all 12 quarters it has played this season. The Huskies gave up a third quarter score for the first time when Erik Lora scored on a 33-yard reception from Jimmy Garoppolo.

***Wide receiver Tommylee Lewis tied his career-high with nine receptions versus Eastern Illinois. Lewis finished with 82 receiving yards in the game.

***Running backs Keith Harris Jr. and Cameron Stingily both rushed for two touchdowns versus the Panthers as NIU recorded four rushing scores in the game.

***Mathew Sims' streak of 64 consecutive extra points made was snapped in the first quarter when his try on the Huskies' first score hit the left post.

***Jordan Lynch hit Da'Ron Brown on a 51-yard completion to record NIU's longest pass play of the season, the longest reception of Brown's career. Brown also established a career-high for receiving yards in a game with 99.

 

 

***Tailback Cameron Stingily scored a pair of rushing touchdowns to record his first career multi-touchdown game.

***NIU's Marlon Moore picked off his third career pass early in the second quarter. Moore's INT was his first of the season.

***Jordan Lynch threw his first interception of the year in the second quarter. Lynch's interception came on his 82nd pass of the year. He threw a second INT later in the game.

***Jimmie Ward's interception in the third quarter was his second of the season and sixth of his career.

***The official attendance Saturday was 23,595 and was a sellout. The Huskies' last sellout was August 28, 2003 when NIU opened the season by defeating No. 15 Maryland. The crowd for that game was 28,018. The attendance was the largest for NIU at Huskie Stadium since Sept. 8, 2007, when the Huskies opened the season versus Southern Illinois before a crowd of 24,182.

***NIU kicker Mathew Sims made a season high three field goals and has made 45 threes in his Huskie career.

***Linebacker Michael Santacaterina established a new career high for tackles with 15 in the game to lead NIU.

***Tailback Cameron Stingily gained a career-high 134 yards on a career-high 21 carries, surpassing the 100-yard mark on a career-long 46-yard run. It was the first time in his Huskie career he surpassed 100 yards in a game.

***NIU had two players surpass the 100-yard mark in rushing yards for the second straight game. A week ago at Idaho it was Lynch and wide receiver Tommylee Lewis. Saturday it was Lynch and Stingily.

***The Northern Illinois offense gained 602 yards of total offense on 82 plays (7.34 yards per play) in the game. It was the first time the Huskies gained 600-or-more yards since November 3, 2012 against UMass.
