***NIU's 63 points today is a season high and are the most for NIU since last year's game versus UMass.

***Northern Illinois' 9-0 start extends its best start in the modern era (since becoming what is now called Football Bowl Subdivision in 1969) and ties the start posted by the 1965 team, which recorded a perfect 9-0 record during the regular season before losing its bowl game to finish 9-1.

***NIU has won 22 of its last 23 games.

***The Huskies extended their winning streak over Mid-American Conference teams to 22 games, the longest conference winning streak in the country. CMU was the last MAC team to defeat NIU (on Oct. 1, 2011 in Mt. Pleasant).

***The Huskies collected their 14th straight road win, which ranks as the second-longest in the country behind Oregon.

***Northern Illinois quarterback Jordan Lynch completed his day following his fourth rushing touchdown of the game with 10:21 to play in the third quarter. Lynch completed 10-of-13 passes for 160 yards and one touchdown, and ran 17 times for 119 yards and a career-high four scores. He totaled 279 yards of total offense and was responsible for five touchdowns.

***On the year, Lynch has 1,150 rushing yards on 173 carries with 12 rushing TDs. He has completed 164 of 258 passes for 19 touchdowns and 1,871 yards.

***Jordan Lynch surpassed his career high with four rushing touchdowns in the game. The last time a Huskies player ran for four scores in a game was Akeem Daniels versus Eastern Michigan last year (11-23).

***Jordan Lynch's 66-yard touchdown pass to Juwan Brescacin was the senior's longest completion of the year. The play also gave Lynch a touchdown pass in 22 consecutive games.

***Jordan Lynch threw a touchdown pass in his 22nd consecutive game and has thrown for at least 150 passing yards in each of those games.



***NIU's Paris Logan recorded a career-long 41-yard kickoff return on the Huskies first drive.

***NIU defensive tackle Ken Bishop recorded his first career interception and returned it 14 yards to the UMass six-yard line, setting up the Huskies fourth touchdown.

***Juwan Brescacin's 66-yard touchdown catch and run was the longest of his career.

***Back-ups Drew Hare and Chad Beebe connected for the Huskies' longest pass play of the season when Hare hit Beebe who sped down the sideline for 81 yards and his first career touchdown. The play was the longest pass play by NIU since August 30, 2008 when then-freshman Chandler Harnish hit Nathan Palmer for a 91-yard scoring play versus Minnesota on Aug. 30, 2008.

***Back-up QB Drew Hare made like Lynch as he went 47 yards for his first career rushing score.

***NIU had a season low one penalty for 15 yards.

***The Huskies rushed for over 350 yards for the sixth time this season with 354 yards on 49 carries. The Huskies averaged 7.2 yards per rush.

***Senior Dominique Ware recorded his second interception of the season. Safeties lead the Huskies in interceptions with Jimmie Ward (5), Dechane Durante (3) and Ware the only players with multiple INTs.
