The only incompletion thrown by an NIU quarterback was a pick by Grady in the second quarter.

***Senior receiver Marcus Lewis caught the first touchdown pass of his career in the third quarter on a six-yard reception from Chandler Harnish.

***Receiver Nathan Palmer ran for 69 yards on three carries. He totaled 67 of those yards on two end around plays, helping him to the best rushing day of his career.

***Northern Illinois won the Bronze Stalk, a travelling trophy between the Huskies and Cardinals, for the first time. The trophy series is now tied 1-1, as BSU won the inaugural meeting 45-14 in Muncie, Ind.

***Quarterback Chandler Harnish started and played the position for most of the second half. In his first action since Oct. 17, Harnish completed 9-of-9 passes for 60 yards and a six-yard touchdown pass to Marcus Lewis.
