DeKALB, Ill. - The Northern Illinois football team has set the date for its 2009 walk-on tryouts, which is open to full-time Northern Illinois students only.

Interested players must attend a mandatory informational meeting on August 24 at 4:00 pm in the McCareins Auditorium in the Yordon Center. The meeting will provide all of the tryout details as well as necessary paperwork players must fill out in order to try out for the 2009-10 Huskie squad.

The tryout will take place at Brigham Field at Huskie Stadium on August 28 at 5:00 pm.
