Yordon Center VIP Terrace Parties Offered at Northern Illinois Football Games

DEKALB, Ill.- Northern Illinois University football fans can once again experience the excitement of another thrilling season of Huskie football from the comforts of the Jeffrey & Kimberly Yordon Center with two different VIP Terrace packages available in 2009. The Huskie Athletic Scholarship Fund is now taking reservations for the Yordon Center VIP Terrace Parties for the 2009 football season. This year, the HASF has created two packages to meet any need. Fans purchasing Package I will receive exclusive use of the Yordon Center's Dacy or Nahas VIP Terraces and 30 VIP Yordon Center passes and 10 VIP parking passes during a home football game. Food and beverages will be provided in the Roberts Atrium and guests will be treated with an exclusive visit from Associate Vice-President/Director of Athletics Jeff Compher. Only one Package I is available per game and costs $2,000. Package II includes everything in Package I, however there are 15 VIP passes and five VIP parking passes, for $1,200. There are two of these available per game. All proceeds will directly benefit NIU's 450 student-athletes through the HASF and a portion of the cost will be tax deductible. NIU's first home game of the season is Sept. 12, 2009, when the Huskies welcome Western Illinois to Huskie Stadium. Other home foes include: Idaho, Western Michigan, Akron, Eastern Michigan and Ball State. Northern Illinois opens the 2009 campaign at Wisconsin Sept. 5.
