DeKALB - Think a quarterback is what you get when you overpay by 25 cents? Ever wonder why corners play all over the field? And why does the safety keep hitting people so hard? That doesn't seem safe.

If after the tailgating, football is all Greek to you, join Northern Illinois head football coach Jerry Kill for the Football 101 Women's Clinic, July 22 at The Yordon Center and Huskie Stadium.

The program will feature wine and appetizers before a film study with Kill, who will break down the different positions, along with an in-depth discussion on offense, defense and special teams. Attendees will also get on-the-field training from the second-year Huskie head coach, including position drills, and red zone training.

In addition to learning lessons that will make it even better for fans to "Experience it Live," participants will receive a Football 101 play book, t-shirt and group photo.

Registration is $35 and all proceeds directly benefit Northern Illinois student-athletes through the Huskie Athletic Scholarship Fund. For more information and to register for Football 101 with Coach Kill, contact the HASF at (815) 753-1923. You must be at least 21-years-old to attend.
