DeKALB, Ill. - Head football coach Dave Doeren, Associate Vice President/Director of Athletics Jeff Compher and select members of the Northern Illinois football team will be at historic Soldier Field Tuesday afternoon for Chicago Media Day. Members of the Chicago media will be on hand to talk to the Huskies and promote the season opener versus Iowa (Sept. 1) at Soldier Field.

NIUHuskies.com will be on hand providing live updates on both Facebook and Twitter during the event, updating the happenings and encouraging fans to engage with the student athletes on hand. Throughout the event, photos and videos will also be posted online and on social media.

As was done during the MAC Media Day in Detroit last week, fans will be able to ask questions to NIU football players and receive responses to their questions on Facebook.

Look for the Twitter hashtag #NIUChi for all football media day related tweets.
