Is there a fan package?
The deadline for the fan packages has passed.  For questions, please call the HASF Office at 815-753-1923.



The student bus fan package is SOLD OUT. If students would like still like to pick up free student football tickets (minus the hotel, transportation, and food) they can do so by calling 753-1421 or go to room 150 in the Campus Life Building.


Tickets are free for current NIU students and can be picked up starting Thursday, Dec. 8 at noon at either the Holmes Student Center Box Office or the Convocation Center.

Where should I stay?
The official team hotel is the Mobile Marriott. This hotel is SOLD OUT. Below is a list of additional hotels in the same area as the team hotel.

A shuttle will run from the Hampton Inn & Suites to the stadium and back on game day. The price is $5 per person.

The Fairfield Inn, Courtyard & Residence Inn are all walking distance from the Hampton Inn & Suites.

The Towne Place Suites is just around the corner. Guests can drive & park at the Hampton to get picked up by the shuttle there.

How much are tickets and where can I purchase them?
Tickets are $45 per person and will go on sale Monday, December 5, 2011 at 9 am.  Tickets are available through the NIU athletic ticket office in the Convocation Center at (815) 752-6800. Click HERE to order tickets or download a PDF order form HERE.

Where is the NIU section?
Fans who purchase tickets through the NIU Ticket Office will be located in the NIU section. All seats are RESERVED. The exact section has not been determined yet but will be on the West side of the stadium. Please check back as we get more information we will update this page. Click HERE for a diagram of Ladd-Peebles Stadium.

How will actual ticket locations for NIU fans be determined/allocated?
Of the tickets given to NIU, the HASF loyalty point system will be used to determine how the tickets are allocated to Huskie fans. Click HERE for more information about the loyalty point system. All seat locations will be allocated by the Huskie Loyalty Point system on Dec 16th at noon. Orders taken after that will be filled on a first come, first serve basis.

How may I pick-up tickets I purchase?
Tickets will be mailed out on Monday, Dec. 19th, unless you request them for Will Call.

Tickets will only be available until Tuesday, Dec. 20th at 5pm, due to the University Shut down. However, tickets will be available for pick up during Athletic Events during the University shutdown. The Ticket office will close from Dec. 21st through Jan. 2nd. We will open Jan. 3rd from 9 am -5 pm. Starting Jan. 4th tickets will only be available at the team hotel, Mobile Marriott, Friday, Jan. 6th 10 am to 5 pm, Saturday, Jan. 7th 10 am to 5pm, and Sunday, Jan. 8th 10 am to 3pm. Sunday, Jan 8th, will call at Ladd-Peebles Stadium is located at Gate 4W. Gates to stadium will open at 6 pm.

What time do gates open to Ladd-Peebles Stadium?
6 p.m.

Where do I park for the game?
General parking for all fans begins at 12:00 p.m. (subject to change) at a cost of $10.00 per vehicle.  RVs and motor-home parking is $25.00 per day. Please call Ladd-Peebles Stadium at 251-208-2500.

What events are going on surrounding the bowl game?

The Mayor's Luncheon
Friday, January 6, 2012 7:00 p.m.
Cris Carter will be the keynote speaker and will be addressing city officials, corporate sponsors, traveling parties of each Bowl team and other guests at the Mobile Convention Center, Exhibit Hall.  Mobile's Mayor Sam Jones will address the crowd.  Previous speakers include: Danica Patrick, Charles Barkley, Terry Bradshaw, Joe Theismann, Phil Simms, etc...

Mardi Gras Parade
Saturday, January 7, 2012 6:30 p.m.
A Mardi Gras Parade will be held in the streets of Downtown Mobile. 16 Mardi Gras societies will be represented with floats and throws for the crowd. Several local high school marching bands will join the parade, as well as the bands and cheerleaders from each participating Bowl team. A huge crowd is expected to pack the streets for the first parade of the 2012 Mardi Gras season.

Pep Rally
Saturday, January 7, 2012 8:00 p.m.
Immediately following the parade, both participating institutions will hold their official pep rallies at the Mobile Convention Center (riverside entrance), attended by each respective marching band, cheerleaders, fans and alumni.

Fireworks Display
Saturday, January 7, 2012 8:00 p.m.
Immediately following the pep rally there will be a spectacular fireworks display over the Mobile River! This event is attended by each respective marching band, cheerleaders, fans and alumni.

Street Party
Saturday, January 7, 2012 8:30 p.m.
Immediately following the fireworks display, the party will move to Water Street and South Plaza for music, food and fun! This event is free to the public and is attended by each respective marching band, cheerleaders, fans and alumni. A live band and food will be available.

Pre-game Tailgate
Sunday, January 8, 2012 5:30 p.m.
The NIU Alumni Association will be sponsoring a pre-game tailgate. As details are finalized, we will update this page. You can always check the alumni website for more information.
