2014 Spring Essentials

After posting its second straight 12-win season and playing in the Mid-American Conference Championship game for the fourth consecutive year in 2013, the Northern Illinois University football team returns to the practice field for the first time this March. Head Coach Rod Carey enters his second spring at the helm of the program as he leads a staff which returns nearly intact for 2014. The Huskies return 50 letterwinners and 16 starters, with nine starters back on offense, including 1,000-yard rusher Cameron Stingily, the Huskies' top three receivers from a year ago and four offensive linemen.
