BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Zach Jecklin (Bloomington, Ill./Bloomington) leads all Huskies after the first two rounds of the adidas Hoosier Invitational at Indiana University. The senior fired rounds of 75 and 72 to finish the day at 147, eight strokes off the lead pace, and in a tie for 12th overall.

Andrew Frame (Manteno, Ill./Manteno) tied Jecklin for the best NIU round of the day with a first-round 72. He followed up with a 78 in the afternoon and is tied for 30th at 150.

Tim Kay (Bartlett, Ill./Bartlett) recorded the second-best NIU score of the afternoon round with a 74. His total score of 152 puts him in a tie for 43rd.

As a team, the Huskies posted scored of 305 and 304 for a two-round total of 609, putting them in 14th position heading into the final round. Saturday's first round action started one hour late because of frost on the course.

"Zach played pretty well today and showed improvement in the afternoon as did Tim Kay," said head coach John Cleary. "It was a windy, cold day which made for tough conditions after a frost delay to start the morning. Hopefully we'll take a step forward in tomorrow's final round."

Sunday's final round begins at 9 a.m. EDT. at the Indiana University Championship Course.
