STEVINSON RANCH, Calif. - The Northern Illinois men's golf team completed play at the Stevinson Ranch Invitational, finishing in 13th place after completing the tournament with a score of 927.

"We just couldn't get the putts to fall today," said head coach John Cleary. "We didn't play well today but we have a few weeks to recover before our next event."

Senior Zach Jecklin was the top overall Huskie finisher. Jecklin's opening round 73 and back to back rounds of 76 led him to a 22nd-place finish at nine-over par.

For the second straight round, multiple Huskies shot season low rounds. Matt Triplett shot a 74 to give him a 231 and a tie for 46th while Chad Koschmann fired an 80 giving him a 247 and a 72nd place finish for the event.

The Huskies are back in action when they tee off at the Boilermaker Invitational April 19-20.
