GLENCOE, Ill. - After nearly two rounds of competition at Northwestern's 13th annual Windon Memorial Classic at Skokie Country Club on Sunday, play has been suspended due to darkness as the Huskies stand in 15th place with an incomplete score of 567 (322-245, +49) that trails leader Illinois' 536 (297-239, +13).
Junior Jeff Dick (Sherman, Texas/Sherman) currently leads the Huskies as he sits in a 15th place tie with a total score of 132 (76-56(14), +6). Freshman Matt Gorman (Waunakee, Wis./Waunakee) is the next closest Huskie in a tie for 58th after scoring a 143 (80-63(15), +12). Freshman Griffin Bauman (Crystal Lake, Ill./Central) ranks in a tie for 75th with a 152 (80-72(16), +17). Freshman Bryce Emory (Aurora, Ill./Marmion Academy) is in a tie for 78th with a 144 (86-58(14), +18) and freshman Kurtis Luedtke (Aurora, Ill./West) ranks 80th with a 154 (86-68(16), +19).
The 54-hole event at the par-71, 7,081-yard course will resume tomorrow morning at 8:30 a.m. CT with a shotgun start to finish the second round, which will then be followed by the third round.
