HUNTINGTON, W. Va. - Northern Illinois' men's golf team was rained out Friday at the Marshall Invitational after heavy rains in the area cancelled the first day of the tournament. As a result, the tournament will now be a one-day 36-hole event to be played on Saturday, weather permitting.

In addition to NIU, the remaining field includes 16 other teams, five of which are ranked in the Golfweek/Sagarin Men's Rankings top-100, including Penn State (36th), Ohio State (53rd), Eastern Kentucky (58th), Illinois (64th) and Marquette (75th).
