Men's Golf Tryout Date Pushed Back To Sept. 16

DeKALB, Ill. - Northern Illinois University men's golf head coach John Cleary will hold walk-on tryouts for the upcoming 2008-09 campaign on Tuesday, September 16 at River Heights Golf Club, located at 1100 South Annie Glidden Road in DeKalb, IL, 60115. Tryouts were originally announced for Sept. 9, but have been pushed back one week. There will be a meeting at 1:45 p.m. to explain the walk-on tryout process, with tee-times following. All potential players are responsible for paying for their green fees. Tee-times will begin at 2 p.m. In order to participate, the individual must have documentation of a physical in the past 90 days prior to Sept. 9. The try-out policy and assumption of risk waiver are available on the men's golf page of NIUHuskies.com and must be signed and returned upon your arrival.
