Men's Soccer - 2011 Mid-American Conference Champions

Highlights from the celebration of the NIU men's soccer team's 1-0 win over Western Michigan

2010: Named to the Mid-American Conference All-Academic Team. Saw action in 15 games, making 14 starts. Scored three goals and registered one assists, finishing second in the team in points with seven. Scored his first goal of the season in a 2-0 win over Northwestern and scored his second goal at Buffalo. Scored his third goal of the season and assisted on a goal by Juan Hoyos against Milwaukee, helping NIU retain the Lewang Cup. Took 31 shots, 11 on goal.

2009: Participated in 17 games, with starts in 12 matches. Assisted Tim King's goal in the Huskies 1-1 tie against then No. 1 North Carolina. Registered a shot on goal in the match, to pair with shots on goal against Bradley and Milwaukee.

2008: Played 18 games and started seven. Tallied five shots on goal and two goals on the season. Made his first collegiate goal in a 4-0 win against Xavier. Netted his second goal against Tulsa. Assisted Danny Lopez's game-winning goal against SIU-Edwardsville.

High School/Club: Played at the Norwegian Academy for Elite Athletes, the same high school as teammate Engebreth Faerden. Scored seven goals and helped his team to an 8-1 record and first-place finish in the Junior Interkrets league as a senior. Team took second in the Jet Elite Tournament as a junior, when he scored 17 goals.

Personal: Born Aug. 19, 1989 in Olso, Norway. Son of Sissel Jor and Joe Ndiaye. Brother Calix Ndiaye played basketball for three seasons at Green Bay before transferring to Bentley.
