Kentucky: Appeared in seven contests as a reserve defender/midfielder, totaling 77 minutes of time on the year. Played a season-high 25 minutes against Cleveland State. High School: Scored 10 goals and made 12 assists, helping his team to the state semifinals. Led his team to a Metro League title and Mississippi Valley Conference (MVC) Championship in 2004. Gathered first-team All-Metro and All-MVC honors as a freshman. Club: Played for CRSA 88/89 for five years. Team won the Iowa State Cup Championship seven consecutive years and was ranked in top 15 nationally from 2004-06. Personal: Born October 10, 1988 in Santa Barbara, California. Son of Barb Zirretta. Made the Honor Roll in every term of his high school career, and was a member of National Honor Society and Science National Honor Society. |
