DEKALB, Ill. -- The Northern Illinois men’s soccer team will play a five-date spring schedule, including three home matches and the annual Governor’s Cup Tournament.
The Huskies open spring competition on Saturday, Feb. 23, when they host Loyola as part of the annual NIU Coaches Clinic. The match with the Ramblers will take place at the DeKalb Rec Center.
Following a month break, NIU will return to action outdoors on Saturday, March 23, when the Huskies welcome Division II Lewis University to DeKalb.
Northern Illinois will begin a stretch of three-straight weekends of competition beginning on Saturday, April 6, when the Huskies host UIC. NIU will then travel to Western Illinois for the annual Governor’s Cup. The Huskies will defend their Governor’s Cup crown against Eastern Illinois, SIU Edwardsville and host Western Illinois.
The Huskies will close the spring season on Sunday, April 21, when they host the University of Wisconsin.

Sunday, April 21: vs. Wisconsin (2 p.m.) - note the venue change, was previously scheduled for Madison, Wis.
