Illinois Men's Soccer Moves Up To Sixth In NCAA Division I Midwest
Having added two more victories over the weekend to improve to 3-0-1,
the Northern Illinois University mens soccer program earned
a little more respect as the Huskies jumped two spots to a No. 6
ranking in the latest NCAA Division I Midwest Regional Ratings released
Tuesday (Sept. 13).

balloting done by the regions coaches. Missouri State University
(formerly known as Southwest Missouri State University) is No. 1
with Creighton University in the second spot. Rounding out the top
five are the University of Memphis, Bradley University and the University

Methodist University, Oral Roberts University, Saint Louis University,
and the University of Tulsa.

University in the tourneys second game.
final day of play is part of a tripleheader at Huskie Soccer Field.
Northwestern and IUPUI meet at 11 a.m. with Northern Illinois and
Detroit-Mercy squaring off at 1:15 p.m. The NIU womens soccer
squad completes the day with a 3:30 p.m. non-conference clash against
Illinois State University.
