Coach Luzzi on the Broncos
“Western Michigan is a good team, if they win tomorrow they will have a chance to play for the conference championship on Saturday, so they will definitely be up for the game and I hope that our guys will be up for it too.”

Gaschot Doubles His Tally
Sophomore Bertrand Gaschot scored his second goal of the season last Saturday at Hartwick (Nov. 2). The Austin, Texas, native also scored the first goal of the season for the Huskies, a 22nd minute marker in a 3-0 victory over Cincinnati on Aug. 30.

Unlucky in Overtime
The Huskies have played four overtime matches this season, including their most recent match at Hartwick, but have fallen in all four contests. Saturday’s 2-1 defeat at Hartwick was the third of the four matches that was settled in double overtime.

The Six Constants

Of that group, only one, Sean Totsch, has started all 16 matches for NIU. The senior captain has played 1,459 of a possible 1,481 minutes this season, Kannah in second in minutes played with 1,364.
