2011: Named Mid-American Conference Newcomer of the Year ... Posted a 17-8 singles record, tying Maksym Bartiuk for most wins ... Also recorded nine doubles victories with partners Roman Turtygin and Bryant Poggensee-Wei ... Won nine-straight matches Feb 25-April 1 ... Was 6-0 in March ... Won 12 of his 14 matches from Feb. 11-April 1 ... 15-of-17 total wins came in straight sets ... In collegiate debut against Dayton's Alex Crum, won 6-1, 6-1 at the No. 4 position ... Played at No. 3 the following day versus Butler's Chris Herron and won, 6-1, 6-1 ... Had a five-match win streak in doubles with Lagutin (Feb. 27-March 15) ... Most dominating victory of the season came against Youngstown State, 8-1 (March 15).
