NIU Receives ITA All-Academic Team Award, Four Individuals Honored

Huskies earn national team academic honor for the second consecutive year

Overall singles (2013-14): 19-7 (.731)

Overall doubles (2013-14): 16-12 (.571)

2013-14 SEASON: Had a strong rookie spring, going 12-3 in singles and 19-7 on the year overall ... Played at No. 4, 5, and 6, finishing unbeaten at No. 6 (8-0) ... Went 16-12 in doubles, playing nearly all of his matches alongside Jovan Zeljkovic ... Picked up a Mid-American Conference Doubles Team of the Week award during the spring (Mar. 28).

MARQUETTE HIGH SCHOOL:

Four-time letterwinner on the tennis court ... Team captain during his senior year ...
