2011: Finished sophomore season with three singles victories ... Was one of only two Huskies to record a shutout victory ... Defeated Chicago State's L. DuBois, 6-0, 6-0 at No. 6 (April 1) ... Won his first match of the season, a comeback, in first appearance versus Eastern Illinois (Feb. 18), 3-6, 6-3, 10-8 ... Earned final win of the season against IPFW, a 6-2, 7-5 win at No. 6 position versus Junya Saruta (April 10). Prior to NIU: played at Troy University... in high school, was ranked in the top-50 in Florida in singles and top-30 for doubles...won district single titles his sophomore and senior year while at Flemming High School...made it to district finals for doubles his senior year...his senior year he qualified for the Florida High School Singles Championship |
