NIUHuskies.com Unveils 360º Virtual Tours
Aug. 6, 2009
DeKALB - Northern Illinois fans and supporters can now see the multiple homes of the Huskies in a whole new light with 360º Virtual Tours. The new tours offer the ability to zoom in on and explore many of Northern Illinois' first-class athletics facilities through the web. Virtual Tours are currently available for The Yordon Center, Huskie Stadium, Ralph McKinzie Field, and the NIU Soccer and Track & Field Complex, with more on the way. Northern Illinois Athletics is constantly looking to improve facilities as part of its mission of "Developing Champions." Many of the Huskie sports programs have received a new facility or facility upgrade in the last two years. Most recently, Kishwaukee Country Club, one of the homes of Huskie men's and women's golf, added a short game practice facility. Other facility improvements in the last two years include the completion of the NIU Soccer and Track & Field Complex, The Huskie Indoor Training Center, and renovation of the NIU wrestling and gymnastics rooms.
