2009-10: Advanced to the NCAA Championships for the second-straight year... 2010 Mid-American Conference runner-up at 157... posted a season record of 20-8 with three pins and three major decisions... one of which against Appalachian State's Travis Puckett during the Michigan State Open to contribute to a second place title in the 157-pound weight class... went on seven- and eight-match winning streaks...posted a 15-2 record in dual matches... defeated Ohio's Clay Tucker and Kent State's Mallie Shuster in 3-2 decisions, Eastern Michigan's Aaron Sulzer in a 7-2 decision and Central Michigan's Donnie Corby in a 6-3 decision during MAC dual matches.
2008-09: Won the MAC Championship at 157 pounds after pinning the No. 1 seed, beating the No. 3 seed, and defeating No. 2 seed to win the title ... went 1-2 at the NCAA Championships, with a pin of Andrew Jones of Michigan State ... finished first-place at the Pointer Open earning three decisions, two falls, and a major decision ... finished fourth at the Kaufman/Brand Open ... one of three 20-match winners for NIU...opened the season with nine wins in his first 10 matches.
2007-08: Finished third at the Mid-American Conference Championships at 165 pounds... defeated wrestlers from Buffalo and Ohio to earn the placement... won five matches at the "Flash" Flanagan Open after losing his opening bout to place third... earned two wins at the Cyclone Open.
2006-07 (Redshirt): Compiled a 23-9 record with eight pins while wrestling at 165-pounds during his redshirt season... won Moco Mercer Open by pinning each opponent in the tournament... finished third at "Flash" Flannigan Open... placed sixth at Pointer Open... first collegiate win came by way of a 4-2 decision over Joshua Ison of UW-Stevens Point.
