2011-12: Registered a 10-13 record with one pin as the primary starter at 157 pounds... Opened the season with a 6-3 record... Won all three of his matches at the Hoosier Duals... Pinned Heidelberg's Justin Wharton in 2:18 at the Michigan State Open... Lone major decision came on Feb. 12 in a 11-3 win against Tiffin's Trevor Nickolai. High School: Capped his high school career with a perfect 29-0 record and a state championship at 152 pounds during his senior season... took first place at the Fall Brawl, Missouri Duals and Branson Open as a senior as well... placed second at the state championships as a freshman at 130 pounds and third as a sophomore at 140... a two-sport athlete, he also lettered in track... was the Freestyle and Greco State Champion this year and was ranked No. 27 in the nation at 152... became the first athlete from Helias High School to sign a national letter of intent with a Division I program.
