High School:Four-time all-state, all-area and all-conference wrestler at Holly High School... Won the Flint Metro League championship in each of the past three seasons... Compiled a 209-24 record with 111 pins in four seasons to rank fourth in school history in career wins... Qualified for the Michigan state tournament all four years at HHS... Helped guide the Bronchos to conference championships in all four years and regional titles in 2011 and 2012... Compiled a 55-3 record with 32 pins as a senior and won the FML championship at 135 pounds... Placed third at the regional meet before taking bronze at the state tournament... Won the Oakland County Tournament in both 2012 and 2013... Finished 53-2 as a junior at Holly, recording 30 pins... Won both the conference and regional titles at 125 pounds in 2012 before finishing second at the state championships... Placed second at theDorothy McClenathan Memorial Tournament in 2012... Won the conference championship at 112 as a sophomore before finishing second in the regional and fifth in the state tournament... Ended the 2010-11 season with a 51-9 record and 24 pins... Began his high school career with a 50-10 record with 25 pins in 2009-10... Placed second at the FML Tournament, but defeated eventual Lehigh signee Dean Somers... Placed second at regionals and seventh at the state tournament as a freshman... Was a teammate of current Huskie Shawn Scott for three seasons.
