2007-08: Placed third at the Mid-American Conference Championships... finished sixth at the Cyclone Open to start the season... picked-up major decisions over wrestlers from Iowa State and Northern Iowa C.C., and recorded a win by fall... went 5-3 in dual competition with wins against Buffalo, Liberty, Cleveland State, Kent State and Northern Iowa. High School: As a senior, earned a state title and placed first in regionals and sectionals while recording a 45-4 mark... recorded his team's top GPA... as a junior, finished third in the 152-pound weight class at IHSA championships... was the DuPage Valley Conference champion, regional champion and placed second at sectionals... earned coaches' award and was co-captain during his junior campaign... as a sophomore, won conference, regional and sectional titles... team was IHSA runner-up his sophomore season... placed second in conference as a freshman... won regional championship and placed fourth at sectional meet during... wrestled at the 2005 and 2006 Junior National Championships for Team Illinois.
