High School: Two-time Illinois state champion... won title at 130-pounds as a junior and 145-pounds his senior year... finished senior campaign with a perfect 35-0 record... runner-up at the NHSCA Junior National Championships in Pittsburgh during the spring of 2006... claimed conference, regional, and sectional titles as a senior while serving as team captain and earning the team award for most points... placed second in Interstate 8 Conference and finished as runner-up at regional, sectional and state meets during his sophomore season at 119 pounds... two-time Interstate 8 Academic All-Conference selection... won conference, regional and sectional titles and finished the season by placing fifth at state.
