2007-08: Won eight matches as NIU's starter at 197 pounds... won matches against Minnesota and Northern Colorado at the Rochester Duals... earned a 5-4 decision in the upset over No. 5 Northwestern... picked-up dual wins over Findlay, Ohio and Liberty. 2006-07 (Wyoming): Compiled an 11-2 record with two pins and one major decision during his redshirt season. High School: Earned team MVP award after his junior and senior years... recorded a perfect 39-0 record during his senior campaign en route to winning the Nebraska state championship... his 39 wins tied school record and 239 points scored set new single season school record... also won the state title as a junior... named all-area first team once and honorable mention twice... sixth-place medalist at Senior Nationals... 2006 Wrestling USA All-American... third-place medalist at Brute adidas Nationals as a junior... a member of the National Honor Society.
