High School: Two-time all-state performer for Reavis High School, earning IHSA Class AA runner-up honors at 119 pounds as a senior and fourth-place honors as a junior... led Reavis to three consecutive conference titles his sophomore through senior campaigns... won conference, regional and sectional titles at 119 pounds as a senior... finished his prep career with a 105-16 record including 42-2, as a senior, the highest single-season win total in school history at 119 pounds... was 36-5 as a junior, finishing second at the conference, regional and sectional meets.
