2008-09: Earned seven decisions throughout the season with one pin, technical fall, and major decision ... wrestled in the 174 pound weight class ... won 10 matches during his freshman season ... scored first MAC victory of his career by defeating Thomas St. Louis of Eastern Michigan ... defeated Eastern Michigan's Donald Funk in first round match of 2009 MAC Championships. High School: Two-time conference champion, four-time regional and sectional qualifier and three-time state qualifier placed fourth in the state tournament as a junior, and second as a senior... earned Fargo Cadet All-American honors... won the 2007 Fila Cadet Greco National title... went 51-3 at 160 pounds as a senior... set program's records for most career wins, most wins in a season and most pins in a season... finished 45-3 as a 160-pound junior. .. completed sophomore season 42-10 at 145 pounds and, placed eighth in the state tournament... went 28-14 as a 130-pound freshman.
