2009-10: Started the season winning his first six matches of the season ending with a record of 7-1...Finished 1st at the Michigan State Open, wrestling at the 149 pound weight class, winning the tournament against Michigan State's David Cheza by decision 8-7. 2008-09: Opened his career with 13 straight wins ... didn't lose his first collegiate match until Midlands ... took first place in the Pointer Open winning five matches ... finished first at the Kaufman/Brand Open, winning six matches ... wrestled in the 149-pound weight class ... took fourth in the MAC Championships ... defeated wrestlers from three Big Ten schools, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Northwestern ... earned 11 decisions throughout the season. High School: Won the state championship at 152 pounds as a senior... four-time state qualifier, placed sixth as a freshman and sophomore... was a two-time conference champion and three-time regional and sectional champion... ranked 18th 152 pounds in the nation by IntermatWrestle.com... finished his junior season 41-2 at 135 pounds, and won his second Dvorak Tournament title... placed sixth at the 2007 NHSCA Junior National Championships at 152-pounds... went 47-2 as a 135-pound sophomore, and won the 2006 Dvorak Tournament championship... completed his freshman campaign 36-11 at 125 pounds... earned 2006 Cadet Freestyle All-American accolades... member of three-time state medaling team.
