NEWTON, Iowa - Wrestling International Newsmagazine (W.I.N.) has named Northern Illinois wrestlers Pat Castillo and Duke Burk to its preseason individual rankings.

Castillo (Western Springs, Ill./Lyons Township) was tabbed 16th at 125 pounds. The senior compiled a 28-13 record en route to a Mid-American Conference individual championship, the conference's Most Outstanding Wrestler Award, and a berth to the NCAA Championships.

W.I.N. placed Burk (Peoria, Ill./Notre Dame) 18th nationally in the 184-pound weight class. The sophomore wrapped-up the 2006-07 season with a 24-9 record, placed second at the MAC Championships and also participated in the NCAA Championships.

The Huskies, under 12th year head coach Dave Grant, open the 2007-08 season Nov. 8 against Iowa State in Ames, Iowa, and open their home slate Nov. 30 versus Northwestern.
