Varsity Club Huskie Representative

HUSKIE REPRESENTATIVE VISION:

FOUR OBJECTIVES OF THIS PROGRAM ARE TO:

      1.) Increase annual fund revenues that directly benefit NIU student-athletes
      2.) Increase the number of HASF donors/Varsity Club members
      3.) Create a leadership and communication system to increase awareness to all current and potential
           Varsity Club members regarding various opportunities for involvement
      4.) Assist the HASF staff at various Varsity Club events in an effort to streamline operations

OVERVIEW:

Varsity Club Huskie Representatives will give the group leadership within itself. The Huskie Reps will consist of representatives from each sport. Other members of the advisory committee will include former coaches, trainers and managers. This will develop a personal touch to prospects and be a proactive group that will help solicit and refer teammates back to their alma mater. The Huskie Reps will set the example of camaraderie.

Huskie Representatives can volunteer time and resources to meet the needs and mission of the Huskie Athletic Support Fund (HASF), which states:

To effectively build and sustain quality relationships with all friends and constituents of Northern Illinois University Athletics, which in turn will provide the resources necessary for Huskie student-athletes to prepare for and EXPECT SUCCESS.
