2005-06: Saw action in 11 of the team's first 14 games as a rookie. Her freshman season was cut short after suffering back problems in mid-January Finished the year averaging 1.9 points and 1.9 rebounds per game. Hit 33.3 percent of both her overall field goals (7-of-21) and three-point tries (3-of-9) and all four of her free throws on the season. Collected 21 rebounds, three assists and three steals on the season. Scored a season and career high four points vs. Coppin State in the Florida International Tournament on a pair of field goals. Added a career-best two assists in that contest. Grabbed a season-high four rebounds five days later versus IPFW. Came out of the gate with a two-point, three-rebound, one assist performance in the season opener versus North Dakota State (11-18-05). Scored three points and pulled down three rebounds vs. UIC (1-2-06) and duplicated that at Central Michigan (1-11-06). Tallied three points and two rebounds at Western Illinois (11-22-06).

Prep: Capped four-year varsity letter-winning career as Rockton-Hononegah's all-time leading girls scorer (1,736 points) and rebounder (975 boards). Four-time first team All-Northern Illinois Conference (NIC-9) pick was also league MVP after junior season. Three-year honoree by Illinois Basketball Coaches Association with honorable mention status as a senior (2004-05) and sophomore (2002-03) sandwiched around third team accolades as a junior (2003-04). Served as co-captain of the squad the last two years when Indians captured NIC-9 crowns with perfect 16-0 ledgers. Stellar senior campaign stat line read 14.4 points-per-game, 6.4 rebounds, and 3.9 assists, culminating in selection to Rising Stars Postseason All-Star Classic. Voted R-HHS team MVP following junior campaign which featured 17.8 ppg., 7.8 rpg., and 2.6 apg. stat line. Completed career under coach Randy Weibel with all-time averages of 13.9 points, 7.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.2 steals. Earned varsity letters as member of Hononegah track program capping senior year as member of 12th-place foursome in state 4x800 relay final. Earned all-conference status twice on track and also lettered as a freshman in soccer while earning all-district accolade. Solid academic record led to U.S. Army National Scholar-Athlete Award in addition to Renaissance Award honoree from Rockton-Hononegah for four straight years. Led Rockton-Hononegah High School to the IHSA Class AA SuperSectional appearance at NIU's Convocation Center.

Personal: Grew up in Dallas as an avid youth soccer player with Dallas Texans Soccer Club. Eventually earned regional and state honors in both Texas and Illinois Olympic Development Program competitions. Oldest of two children (brother Nate) for Kimberly and Ned Gillette. Father played college baseball for Truman State University---formerly Northeast Missouri State. Favorite athlete is retired U.S. Women's National Soccer Team player Michelle Akers. Also played AAU basketball for Illinois Pacesetters. Major: Pre-Business. Birthdate: September 9, 1986.
