NIU: Tallest player on the 2006-07 Huskie roster. Also rates as one of three tallest (6-5) women in history of Northern Illinois women's program. One of 10 returning letterwinners. 2005-06: Saw action in three games and played eight minutes as a true freshman. Enduring a myriad of injuries which limited her progress and playing time. Pulled down a rebound versus DePaul (12-12-05) and Central Michigan (2-18-06). Scored her only two points of the season on a pair of free throws versus Central Michigan. Prep: Three-year varsity letterwinner and two-season starter for Norwood Young America's (MN) Central High School program which compiled 60-26 record in her last three campaigns. Earned honorable mention all-conference status her junior and senior seasons in rugged Minnesota River Conference. All-time career shot blocker averaged 5.9 points-per-game, 3.5 rebounds-per-game and 3.0 blocks per contest as a senior tri-captain for coach Gary Lembeke's 23-6 squad. The Raiders reached Minnesota Sub-Sectional finals for Class 2A in two of last three years. Became No. 2 career blocker after a 20-8 junior season during which she averaged 6.8 ppg., 4.2 rpg., and 3.5 blocks. Earned all-tournament recognition in Thanksgiving and Christmas Classics. Also garnered two varsity mongrams as middle blocker for Central volleyball program coached by Gina Lundberg. Earned Academic All-State accolades as a senior and was a four-time honoree for Central's academic letter program. Personal: Youngest of two children for Scott Kline and Judith Lemke-Kline. Older brother Bradley was four-year letterwinner for Univeristy of Maine-Presque Isle basketball squad. Sunrise Conference Scholar-Athlete. Began AAU basketball playing for Chris Bates' North Tartan club and then spent following year with Minnesota Stars coached by Tim Hestad. Member of NYA Central's SADD (Students Against Drunk Driving) organization and also served for two years as Sunday school teacher for All Saints Lutheran Church.
