2004-05: Saw action as a reserve in all 28 games and finished as Northern Illinois' No. 8 scorer with 2.9 points-per-game, tied for seventh in boardwork with 1.8 and was third on squad in blocked shots with 12 (0.4 bpg.). Scored 51 of her 80 points over the second half of the season and chalked up career-best eight points in final regular-season road game -- a 61-59 victory at Buffalo (2-26-05). Hit season-best 4-of-5 from the floor against UB. Top all-around showing may have come in Mid-American Conference Postseason Tournament loss at Toledo (3-5-05) which featured four points (2-of-3 FGs), four rebounds, two steals plus one assist, one blocked shot and no turnover. Contributed six points in two other ballgames: a 67-64 win at Saint Louis (12-18-04) and 70-64 league home loss to Ball State (2-5-05) by going a perfect 3-for-3 from the floor in both contests. Also had three rebounds and a block against SLU. Registered season-bests for free throws made (4-of-6) and rebounds with five boards, an assist plus a block in road loss to Bowling Green State (2-2-05). Second straight year of earning Victory Scholar recognition within school's own Academic Excellence program.
2003-04: Registered six starts within 24 appearances (172 minutes) as a soph reserve finishing the year with averages of 1.7 points-per-game and 1.6 rebounds-per-contest. Accounted for half of her 40 points during six-game stretch late in the season. First start came at Southeast Missouri State where she hit both free throw attempts as part of four-point, four-rebound effort. Started next game at Saint Louis and added two points and two boards. Had three rebounds in start at Bradley. Also took court for opening tip in three MAC games highlighted by four points (2-for-2 FTs), two rebounds and a block versus Buffalo (1-26-04) during another trio of starts. Most productive outing came in regular-season finale victory over Ball State hitting 3-of-4 from the floor plus only free throw as part of six-point, seven-rebound effort that also included another block and an assist. Earned Victory Scholar (3.50-4.00 gpa) status within NIU's Academic Excellence program.
2002-03: Came off the bench in 24 games as a frosh to add depth to Huskies' interior defense along with 0.5 points-per-game and 0.8 rebounds-per-game. Logged 143 minutes with a season-high 19 in the opener, chalking up two points and a blocked shot to help beat Wisconsin (11-22-02). Matched those numbers and added two rebounds plus a pair of assists in 14 minutes at Arizona State (11-25-02). Canned her only shots in two-point performances versus Bradley (12-20-82) and at Ball State (1-8-03). Snared season-best five rebounds against Eastern Michigan (2-18-03), which included another two-point offensive contribution. Earned Victory Scholar (3.50-4.00 gpa) status within NIU's Academic Excellence program.
Prep: Received Honorable Mention All-Greater Western Ohio Conference honor for Centerville High program which went 8-12 in rebuilding season. Four-year varsity letterwinner led coach Kathy Hill's squad for the third consecutive year in scoring (10.2 points-per-game) and rebounding (8.0 boards-per-contest) while also notching 1.5 steals and 1.0 blocks. Chalked up 11 double-figure performances with a season-high 21-point outing that was accompanied by nine rebounds. Near miss left her with five point-rebound double-doubles for the year. Was scoring (12.0 ppg.), rebounding (8.0 rpg.), assist (3.0 apg.) and steals (3.0 spg.) leader as a junior in leading Elks to district runner-up finish as part of 18-6 campaign. Earned Honorable Mention All-Area and All-District, plus Second-Team All-GWOC honors. Recorded nine point-rebound double-doubles. Sophomore season also resulted in 18-6 ledger and district runner-up showing. Led squad in scoring (15.0 ppg.) and rebounding (9.0 rpg.) while also averaging a pair of assists and steals before earning Honorable Mention All-Area and All-District status, plus First-Team All-GWOC. Notched seven point-rebound double-doubles. Varsity letterwinner as a frosh reserve when Centerville posted first of three straight district runner-up finishes with 18-6 record. Four-year varsity letterwinner earned First-Team All-Greater Western Ohio Conference acclaim in last two years after Second-Team All-GWOC soph campaign. Senior year ended with All-Area and All-District honors plus a spot in district all-star showcase.
Personal: Youngest of three children for Robert and Julie Uptmor. Older brother Jason is an Air Force Tech Sergeant and older sister Kristin is third-year med student at Ohio State Unviersity. Cousin Kyle Olson is a student manager with NIU women's basketball squad. Played AAU ball with Dayton Lady Hoopsters program which qualified for nationals prior to sophomore campaign and won AAU Under-15 National title prior to junior season. Lady Hoopsters were state qualifiers prior to senior year in high school. Major: Communications. Birthdate: May 30, 1984
