Huskies to Host Alumni Day Jan. 26 Against Toledo

DeKALB, Ill. - Northern Illinois women's basketball will give fans a chance to see the past, present, and future of Huskie basketball as it hosts its annual Alumni Day at the Convocation Center on Saturday, January 26 against Toledo. The past players will meet with the current team for a pre-game "Chalk Talk" and be on the court for the National Anthem and line-ups. At halftime, the alumni will be honored and recognized for their dedication to the program. Some of the returning Huskies include Mary Bell (NIU Hall of Fame Head Coach from 1957-77), Bianca Brown (2007-11), Kim Davis (2010-12), and Courtney Shelton (2008-12). The game will tip off at 3 p.m. CT as the Huskies take on the preseason Mid-American Conference favorite Toledo Rockets. Tickets for the game can be purchased online at NIUHuskies.com/tickets, via phone at 815-752-6800, or through the NIU Convocation Center Ticket Office.
