NIU Women's Golf Washed Out on Day One in the Desert

RIO VERDE, Ariz. - The Northern Illinois women's golf team saw their first round at the Rio Verde Invitational cancelled due to rain on Friday. The event, originally scheduled for 54 holes over three days, will be condensed to a 36-hole event. NIU will tee off its first 18 holes at 1 PM (CT) Saturday and its final 18 at 9 AM (CT) Sunday. Live stats will be available through Golftstat.com when the tournament gets underway at Rio Verde Country Club's White Wing course. -NIU-
