DEKALB, Ill. - Supporters of Northern Illinois University women's golf can give to the Huskies and say goodbye to its longtime head coach as the NIU women's golf team hosts a weekend of festivities at DeKalb's Kishwaukee Country Club May 19-20.

The weekend begins on Saturday, May 19 with a retirement dinner at KCC for NIU head coach Pam Tyska, who is retiring after 26 years of service to Northern Illinois. The event begins at 5:30 p.m. with a cocktail hour featuring a cash bar, appetizers, soft drinks, coffee, tea and a raffle. Dinner will follow at 6:30 p.m. and will cost $40.

The NIU women's golf program will hold its annual Spring Fling fundraiser on Sunday, May 20th at Kishwaukee Country Club. The $100 entry fee includes 18 holes of golf, cart fees, use of the practice facilities and a box lunch. Registration begins at 12 p.m. with a shotgun start set for 1:30 p.m. There will be a reception open to the public at 5:30 p.m. featuring appetizers and a cash bar, with soft drinks, coffee and tea provided.
