2009: Competed in 10 meets for the Huskies on vault and floor, while competing nine times on the bars. Placed in the top 10 16 times overall, including seven times on vault, five times on bars and four times on floor exercise. Versus Eastern Michigan (1/25), took first on the bars with a 9.800, second on the vault with a 9.850 and third on the floor with a 9.800 to record her season and career bests in all three events. Took first place on uneven parallel bars at Ball State (2/8) with a score of 9.775. Earned a fifth place finish at State Championships (3/14) with a 9.775 on vault. Placed ninth on vault at MAC Championships (3/21) with a 9.800. Scored a 9.825 and took second on vault at Minnesota (2/28) and was fifth on the floor exercise (9.700) at that meet. Had top five finishes on all three events versus Bowling Green (1/11). Scored 9.700 or above eight times on vault and did not score below 9.600 on the event all season. Reached the 9.700 plateau five times on bars with a 9.750 in tri-meet at Illinois-Chicago (2/13) and a second-place finish with a 9.700 versus Kent State (2/22). Rock solid on floor exercise with nine scores of 9.625 or above and six higher than 9.700. Scored a 9.775 on floor at Western Michigan (3/9) to take fourth place. Completed the season with averages of 9.745, 9.594 and 9.650 on vault, bars and floor, respectively.

2008: Competed in all nine meets for the Huskies in the vault, bars, and floor exercise events. At Kent State (1/20), took second and fifth on the bars and floor exercise, respectively, with scores of 9.750. Versus Western Michigan, placed fourth on the bars with a score of 9.700 and was fifth on vault with a 9.675 (1/27). Secured three top-five finishes versus Ball State (2/3) as she was fifth on the floor, and third on vault with a pair of 9.725s and placed second on the bars with a 9.675. Was second-place on the floor exercise, third on bars, and fourth on vault at UIC (2/27). Finished with a season-high 9.775 on floor, a 9.770 on bars, and a 9.675 on vault in the Huskies' win. At the MAC Championships (3/29), placed fourth on vault with a career-high score of 9.800, and took fourth on bars with 9.725. For the vault event, scored a 9.650 or higher five times and averaged a 9.611 for the season. On bars, earned a 9.675 or better on seven occasions; averaged 9.678 to lead the Huskies in that category. Tallied a 9.700 or higher six times on the floor exercise, averaging a score of 9.578 overall.

2007: Had an outstanding rookie year capped by a bid to the NCAA Regionals on floor exercise. Started with a season-best score of 9.750 on vault to tie for first place at the Huskie Triangular (1/14). Matched that mark later in the year in a tri-meet with Illinois and Iowa State (2/25). Competed in 11 of NIU's 12 regular season meets. Made 10 appearances on vault, 10 on bars, and 11 on floor exercise. Averaged an impressive 9.620, 9.515, and 9.671 on the vault, bars, and floor exercise, respectively. Her most consistent event was the floor exercise where she scored a 9.775 on five occasions, and did not score below a 9.600 during the regular season. Had a strong performance on floor at the State Championships (3/25) where she took fourth with a career-high 9.800. Other highlights included second-place finishes on floor exercise at Central Michigan (3/17) and Ball State (2/23) with scores of 9.775. Achieved a season-best 9.725 on bars at Denver (2/17).

Prep: Trained at Aerial Gymnastics Club in Downers Grove, Ill. A Level 10 gymnast for three years who advanced to the U.S.A. Nationals in 2006. As a senior, earned a 9.55 on floor, a 9.0 on beam and a 9.3 on vault at the state meet. Her freshman year scores included a 9.35 on bars and 9.45 on beam.

Personal: Daughter of Patty and Joe Blum. Born May 28, 1988. Older brother, Joe, was a member of the UIC men's gymnastics team. Earned Huskie Scholar status with a cumulative GPA above 3.0. Majoring in public health administration.
